THE PAIUTE COURSES
A TRUE DESERT OASIS
Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort’s courses offers desert golf at its finest. This year’s Duel in the Desert three-course rotation will challenge players as well as provide breathtaking views of a beautiful desert oasis.
SNOW MOUNTAIN – “NU-WAV-KAIV’
Storms in at 7,164 total yards … Best Par 3s on the property. The original course (and a true golfer’s favorite) has wide rye grass fairways, seven holes with water, traditional Dye railroad-tie bunkers, dog-leg finishing holes, and a progressive layout. Do you like risk? Or, do you go for reward? Then you’ll love the challenge waiting for you in finishing holes 16, 17, 18.
WOLF – “KWETOO-UNUV”
Howls at 7,604 total yards … Longest course in Nevada … Come take a bite. The newest and most difficult, also known as the signature course, leads the pack but golfers can temper the challenge with its five tee options. The most difficult layout at The Paiute also holds the record as the longest course in Nevada. Marrying remarkable length with raw beauty, the course is infamous for its severe undulations, alternate landing areas, and a stunning 15th hole island green
SUN MOUNTAIN – “TAV-AI-KAIV’
Shines at 7,112 total yards … A kinder Dye? Says who? The second in the trio is considered the tamest of the courses. Hailed as the gentler Dye, some also call it their favorite for its indigenous intertwining landscaping, surprising slope changes, and majestic mountain backdrop. Try your skill on Holes 11, 12, and 13, Paiute’s version of Amen Corner. And, hole 4 is truly “the Par 3 to play.”
